Our Volunteers

In order to build a Support Group, it is necessary to have volunteers to help with the lifting. Our thanks go out to the following individuals for their willingness to help. 

Encouragement Team Leaders 
Bettye Arnold, Ann Upton, David Ellis, Phyllis Hurts, Jon MacBeth, Edie McFarlin, Watson Harris, and Charles Mickles. These folks will be assigned people to maintain a personal connection and call each month. They will check on and report the health of their team members and remind them of our monthly meeting and special events. 
Resource Management 
Norm Nelson will be responsible for managing the brochures pamphlets and reading material that we receive from our guest speakers and other sources. He will have a display table set up at each meeting for those needing that material.                                                                                Facebook Administrator 
David Ellis will do our posting on our Facebook page and monitor and manage that outlet for information and report our Group Activities. 
Care Card Angel 
Carol Ellis will be our point of contact when families have serious issues and need encouragement. She will represent us as a Group but will also encourage us all to respond when appropriate with cards or emails. 
Person with Parkinson’s Share Group Leader 
Charles Mickles Later in the year we will begin a PWP Share Group that will meet on a day other than our Group meeting and discuss specific challenges 
Care Partner Share Group Leader 
Carol Ellis Later in the year we will begin a Care Partner Share Group that will meet on a day other than our Group meeting and discuss specific challenges. 
Hospitality Group- 
Sharon Ream ( will need additional volunteers) 
Exercise- 
Edie McFarlin and Sharon Ream will lead exercise for short period during monthly meetings
Website 
Ron Ream will post any information we need on the website. 

More Volunteer opportunities will open as we grow our group especially Encouragement Team Leaders.
